I'm a slacker! sorry!

It's been since the Super Bowl since my last post, and football season starts tomorrow! (well actually today since midnight just rolled around) I need to be better at posting on here. I've done quite a few photo shoots and done some other little random hair things since the Colts lost in the Super Bowl. :( I'm not totally a Colts fan, but I'm not a Saints fan at all. So I was a bit disappointed. Oh well, Brent's haircut was fun and so was watching a good game!
Since it is WAY past my bedtime, I'm going to hit the sack, but know that there is a post and some more slide shows of photo shoots on their way real soon! (which considering it's me and I'm not too good at keeping this updated (starting now, it's my New Year's Resolution!) hopefully it'll be updated sooner rather than later)
Peace and Love
The lights are now out!

gAME tIME!

The Thursday before the Super Bowl, I get a call from my dad's cousin Brent. They were supposed to dress up for their favorite team at work that Saturday. He's a butcher, so he has to wear a big white coat when he's working. So he decided that the next best thing was to cut his hair for the big event. He wanted a mohawk and two Colt's horseshoes on the side. Oh, and most important, he wanted them blue! I had him come into my work and we just did it there. Needless to say there were a few turned heads and funny looks as he walked out. My dad said to make sure no one knew that my dad knew him. haha RIGHT! As Brent was walking out, one of our neighbors happened to be walking in. Not only did he catch on that my dad knew Brent, but that he's related to him too :) I LOVE my family!

Halloween

So my friend Nikki, one of the ones I've done photo shoots with in the past, came to me wanting me to do the hair for her and her friend. They had the brilliant idea that they wanted to be animals for Halloween. Nikki was a peacock, and her friend Drea was a zebra. The first couple pictures are of their hair. The last couple are of the amazing body makeup they had done by another friend.

I just realized

My very first photo shoot isn't up here. Sorry Sharesa! Sharesa was my guinea pig for my first shoot. I took a make-up class from the amazing and talented Brittany Troche! We did a shoot after the class and here is what came from it. The pictures from Meaux Photograpy are on the side bar. These are ones that I took on the side of the freeway when Sharesa's car decided it didn't want to work anymore. So we seized the opportunity to have a shoot on the side of the road. :o)

tied with a bow

My sister-in-law babysits a cute lil girl, and I've happened to be there once or twice when she is. I usually end up getting talked into doing her hair (it doesn't take much to talk me into it). I decided to try something new out, and I really liked the way it turned out!
